The run, sponsored by the Kentucky Motorcycle Association and the Marine Corps League, will begin on Logistics Drive off the Greenbelt Highway west of Dixie Highway. It will go to Greenwood Road and on to Southern Parkway and Third Street and end on South Floyd Street at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. Other roads on the route include St. Andrews Church, Palatka, New Cut and Central Avenue. Motorcyclists will begin assembling for the run at noon and the ride will begin at 2 p.m.
Cyclists collect toys to deliver to the Marine league, which gives them to the Salvation Army and other charities to distribute.
Several police departments, including St. Matthews, Shively, and Jeffersontown Police, are donating resources and manpower for the event.
