Want to have some fun? The Louisville area offers plenty to do for kids looking for something to do.

1. Family Parks - There are more than 120 public parks in the metro area alone, many created by famed landscape architect .
2. The Louisville Science Center - The Science Center is now the largest hands-on science center in Kentucky, with about 150 interactive exhibits and activity stations, a four-story IMAX Theatre, teaching laboratories.
3. U of L Planetarium - The Rauch Planetarium has been delighting schoolchildren and adults alike with shows on the planets, stellar constellations and other astronomical wonders.
4. Community Centers - Louisville has some great community centers.

Here are some popular birthday party ideas for kids in Louisville.
