Does the Courier Journal provide such horrible customer service only to push people to read the paper on their web site? There has got to be a reason for ANY business to be so disconnected from their customers. I waited on the phone for over 40 minutes for someone to speak to. My paper, when delivered, can be found under my car, laying in a puddle which renders the paper unreadable, in my front yard close to the street.

Horrible customer service. I didn't receive my paper on Sunday and called. Of course, no delivery. I went on-line on my phone to use their chat function. I was told I would receive .69 for my missed paper. That is not the cost of buying a replacement paper! I was told to access the paper online and that I could find my coupons and ads at all these difference websites. I thought I had a subscription for an actual, physical product that would be delivered to my house on Sundays. Apparently not.
I tried the online HTML and it was basically unreadable on my phone. If I wanted on online paper I would pay $5 a month, but I want a physical paper!
The last customer service person, Angelica, basically said she couldn't help me and to call their customer service phone number and "her assistant would help me." Well, I called and was told I would receive a call back with in 47 minutes to 1 hour and 11 minutes later. HAHAHAHA That didn't happen.
After 40 plus years of subscribing, I'm cancelling. What's the point of paying for something if I can find it all on-line (their customer service person's words).
But I will say this, my delivery person, when they got papers deliver, did put them on the porch and not out in the driveway or in a puddle.

I have been trying to cancel for 3 weeks & no one answers the phone, you can only call during business hours, and last time i called i was disconnected & wasn’t able to get through again. My account says I don’t have a subscription but im being billed & receiving the paper. Poor customer service & availability!

Terrible customer service. If I could give negative stars, I would. Warning to all who are considering to subscribe, you will never be able to cancel. You cannot reach customer service, I have waited > 1.5 hrs, only to be disconnected. E-mail and online chat is nonresponsive. Considering contacting credit card issuer and stoping payment.

I have received one Courier-Journal in the past week -- ONE. I have received a couple of Lexington Herald-Leaders for some reason, but only ONE C-J. It appears that delivery is again delayed. I tried calling Customer Service three different times. After waiting an interminable amount of time each attempt, I was disconnected EACH TIME. I've tried the chat function online, and I've been waiting ~20 minutes for an agent. I give up. Our regular delivery people are fantastic. I can only assume that they are on vacation or have had a family emergency, and this is the reason for some of the issues. However, any print delays are certainly not the fault of any delivery person. And those print delays seem to be coming more and more frequently. I pay a ridiculous amount for a print edition because my disabled brother prefers to have the paper rather than the electronic version, but this is becoming more and more frustrating!! I hope the C-J gets its act together soon. I'm also requesting that a service agent look at my account, credit me for the past week's service, and determine if there are any "deals" being offered -- and offer one to me. It's becoming more and more clear that the C-J really doesn't value its print subscribers anymore, so I'm likely to cease being one.

I am so sick of the courier journal. They are rude to you when you complain about not getting a paper and you don't get reimbursed for your missed paper. Our delivery person sucks. We have to go out and hunt for the paper ( if you are lucky enough to get it) No wonder they are going under!! Service Sucks!!!!!

I just started receiving the Sunday paper last week. I didn't receive my paper today so I called customer service this morning and I was told that I would have my paper by noon. No paper. I contacted customer service online and was told that I wouldn't receive a paper because in his own words, "Ma'am, you were missed" and then he told me to have a nice day. One thing that I do know is that I will be cancelling once my subscription is up. I definitely would not recommend.

i have had sunday delivery for some time now. i do not know if there has been a recent change in the delivery person. i do not know, because i am not getting a paper for 2 of the last three weeks
i go online to report the issue. still no paper. out of desperation, i call customer service. they tell me it is due to "late delivery" issues. which is non-sense since the neighbors across the street ALL have their papers.
i am tired of the lies from customer service and the non-delivery issues.
and will henceforth CANCEL my subscription.
we'll see how log or IF that happens. i am sure the CJ can foul thta upo as well.

I have been having delivery issues for 3 months. I have placed numerous calls to customer service. On more than one occasion I was advised that a manager would return my call. No call was ever received. I now find that my paper is being delivered to next door neighbor. What do I have to do to get this corrected? I dont want to cancel subscription but may have to.
